Excellent strike rate over the last three years, including a Longchamp Group 1 success. Added to his excellent record with a second win in the Rose of Lancaster at Haydock (10.5f, good to firm) in August, but was not at his best when he finished fifth in the Group 2 Prix Dollar at Longchamp two weeks ago.

28/1
Won the St. Leger last year. Building on his fifth place at Royal Ascot when he won the Royal Whip at the Curragh in August, but only third behind Iresine in the Foy next time and at the Arc 13 days ago.

20/1
Very good performance in France, including a win in the Group 1 Prix Ganay last year. Scored a second win in the Group 2 Prix Foy at Longchamp last month and is unfazed by this ground after winning a Prix Royal Oak on Heavy in 2022.

25/1
This contributed to his very good record when he performed more than well on Brigadier Gerard’s landing at Sandown (1¼m, soft) on his reappearance in May. Since then he has been behind some of these rivals on faster surfaces, but he is one who can keep up well despite the ground conditions being in his favour.

A very clever mare with three wins in Group 1, but in her two outings this year she has been well below that level, although after a six month break when she was fifth in the Sun Chariot two weeks ago she ran like whether she needed the trip. Has a soft effect.

6/4
Most impressive tackle that went more than well for the first time as a 6 length winner from King Edward at the Royal Meeting. Has since improved on that form when he finished second to City of Troy (pair clear) in the International at York (good to firm again). The one to beat, even if he is just as effective on deep ground.

2/1
Two-time Group 2 winner who fought valiantly to make it 4-4 on the season in last month’s Irish Champion at Leopardstown (1¼m, good), narrowly fending off Auguste Rodin with Los Angeles a length behind in fourth. Looks even better.

14/1
Impressive winner of the London Gold Cup (Handicap) on his return appearance at Newbury and even better form placing at Listed/Group level in his three appearances since, including C&D. However, Los Angeles gave him weight and a beating last time out in York.

13/2
Placed in the Epsom Derby before winning the Irish version. Good attempt to defy a Group 1 penalty in the Voltigeur at York in August before performing well within the frame in the Irish Champion (to Economics) and Arc in the autumn. 1½m is his optimal path, but the ground should emphasize endurance.

50/1
Developed really well as a three year old, winning two competitive handicaps and an Ayr listed race (all 1¼m). Looks soft and is perhaps capable of more, but to play a prominent role here it needs a lot of improvement.

66/1
Finished narrowly in Group 1 Nassau at Goodwood before finishing Group 3 Strensall at York (9f, good to firm) in August. When she finished third in the Sun Chariot in Newmarket two weeks ago she was once again placed in Group 1 for her gender. Returning to 1¼m in favor, but it’s still difficult to find convincing arguments for it.
