Serenissima Gravel abandoned the race midway through as the track was impassable due to rain

The Serenissima gravel race was canceled after just one lap of racing due to wet weather that caused some parts of the track to become impassable, it is said Tuttobiciweb.it.

The 150-kilometer Italian gravel race, 65% of which is held on gravel and dirt roads, had already been shortened by one lap to 112.5 kilometers and ended after a single 37.5-kilometer lap. The race website describes the route as running 15km along the Brenta River.
