Golf goddess Nelly Korda in two-piece training gear heads to “Malaysia”

Nelly Korda, a highly successful golfer, is currently enjoying a trip to Malaysia. She recently shared highlights of her trip on Instagram, where she can be seen on the golf course, at the beach and relaxing with a coffee. Korda’s posts show her in a variety of workout attire and provide a glimpse into her lifestyle. For her, golf remains her primary means of staying in shape, but her approach to fitness goes beyond just playing. Korda focuses on perfecting her technique, grip strength and punching power during training, while incorporating various workouts such as squats and rows to stay fit off the track.

For Korda, golf is the most important way to stay fit. Better Health states that the sport is very beneficial. “An average distance for a round of golf can be between five and seven kilometers long. Running 18 holes three to five times per week will provide you with an optimal level of endurance training for your heart. As you drag or carry your clubs, you will burn even more calories and benefit even more from each round.

Korda shared with Golf Monthly some of the things she’s working on while training. “The first thing you should check is whether you are gripping it correctly. It makes a big difference in your swing,” she said. “You could easily be too weak or too strong, and that affects the face of the club. Therefore, grip is just as important as posture and weight position. Once you get those basics down, it’s much easier to work on consistency and easier work shooting lower numbers.”

Korda also told Golf Monthly that she also focuses on impact when training. “I mainly just work on hitting power. I do an exercise on the putting green because your eye line and vision change every day. You may see the ball and your line differently every day, so it’s really important to do a line drill.” Try it for five minutes to make sure you adjust your alignment. Then work on your distance.

Korda shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. Among other things, you can see her doing lunge squats with kettlebells. Korda captioned the post, “2 weeks at home to workout. Let’s go!”. According to Piedmont, squats have many benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, meaning they work multiple muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, core, and part of your back.”

Korda can also be seen on a rowing machine in her Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that this has many health benefits. “Your abs, lower back, obliques, glutes and hamstrings are worked during a session on a rowing machine. If you stick to proper form, your core will be stressed in the process.” every single step of the rowing process. Strengthening these muscles is also key to maintaining stability and building speed.”
